Privacy reminder

Core goal

Submit a complaint through the FTC’s official channel to create a formal, trackable record. If the online portal is inaccessible, use the email option as a fallback.

Where to submit

Complaint process (step by step)

  • Open the portal: ReportFraud.ftc.gov (US region recommended).
  • The site is in English; use your browser’s translate feature if needed.
  • Category: Online Services / Subscription (preferred) or Something else (fallback).
  • Report details: select Yes for “paid,” then fill out the rest based on your situation.
  • Company info: select Yes, then enter OpenAI / ChatGPT, 3180 18th Street, San Francisco, CA 94110, legal@openai.com.
  • Problem details: use the prompt below to draft a formal English complaint letter.
